Campus life
Learning spaces, digital services and support for every Southlea student.
Student life
Southlea is a place to learn, build and connect. Students study in modern teaching spaces and laboratories, work together on venture and design projects, and meet peers across both faculties.
Project teams, presentations and venture competitions bring business and engineering students together, reflecting the way technology enterprises work in practice.
Library and e-resources
The University Library, working with the ICT Department, provides continuous, authenticated access to global e-resource databases, digital journals, e-books, industry research platforms, market intelligence databases and international standards repositories.
Students and staff can reach literature across entrepreneurship, finance, materials science, polymer chemistry and advanced manufacturing, on campus and online.
Digital campus
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department provisions and maintains the digital infrastructure, computing resources and technical support that every programme depends on.
Specialised computer laboratories
Business management suites, ERP and CRM systems, Power BI and Tableau, SPSS, R and Python, CAD/CAM, molecular modelling and simulation software.
High-speed internet and network
Robust campus-wide bandwidth and secure connectivity for cloud applications, research data and online collaboration.
Learning Management System
Course materials, online submissions, interactive simulations, continuous assessment tracking and student-staff communication in one place.
Support and maintenance
Ongoing technical maintenance, system upgrades and administrative support for students and staff.
